THE CATERPILLAR
FOUNTAIN
COMPANY

Proprietor : Tony Bull (01502 574263)

WHY The Caterpillar Fountain Company? Because there is a hand made copper caterpillar on the underside of one leaf on each of our fountains.

The Company was founded in 2002 in order to bring high quality copper fountains to the discerning householder/gardener. All of our fountains are hand made from the finest of materials and feature original and unique designs.

As the fountains age, they develop a pleasing green/grey verdigris patina, which will match virtually any background. All leaves are very realistic because they are created from actual leaf scans.

Recommendations and Conditions of use.

  • All patio/conservatory fountains are supplied with a submersible pump, flexible hose, and bowl but not cobbles. Because of the unpredictable nature of the manner in which water splashes, the patio/conservatory fountains should not be sited near to any furniture, fabrics wooden floors or other surface which would be damaged by such splashes.
  • External fountains are supplied with a suitable submersible pump, approximately 2 metres of suitable hose and a pre prepared paving slab and fittings.
  • The submersible pumps are factory sealed but it is recommended that they be connected to the electrical supply using an earth leakage circuit breaker, which is tested regularly. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician. The pumps will be damaged if they are operated without being submerged in water.
  • Because the fountains are hand made, they may differ slightly from the pictures here. The patio/conservatory fountains are extremely heavy, make sure that they are adequately supported Some of our leaves have sharp points; it is your responsibility to ensure that children are kept well away from the fountains.
  • All fountains are tested before dispatch. All fountains carry a one year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
